Art Doors; Open the doors to build homes, repair communities
This is a community-wide awareness campaign that includes treasure hunting with participating community members that ends with an actual pop-up art door exhibit at The Nave.
Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity has partnered with the City of Victoria, The Nave Museum, Texas Zoo, Parks and Recreation and 12 local artists to bring awareness to how GCHFH serves the community. Every art door is hidden in plain sight and has treasures for the first that find the 12 doors placed throughout the city and an opportunity to win special prizes for the more doors you find.
The treasure hunt begins October 15 through December 3rd. Friday, December 11th is a private reception for artists and friends at the Nave then Saturday, December 12th from 12 to 4 is a reception for participants and the general public at The Nave
